About the Role
Develop systems and algorithms to improve automated trading software, write code handling complex data and processes, support traders with market-informed improvements, design and test new strategies, refine existing strategies, analyze trading performance, and build automation tools.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Econometrics or equivalent, with exceptional grades
- Passion and knowledge of mathematical modeling
- Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently
- Experience with and passion for programming; C++ recommended, Python or other languages acceptable
- Attendance at a top 200 university and top-tier grades or equivalent
- EU/EFTA passport or a valid Swiss work and residence permit
Responsibilities
- Develop systems and algorithms to improve automated trading software
- Write code to handle complex data and processes
- Design, test and implement new trading strategies
- Tweak and refine existing trading strategies
- Perform data analysis to understand market and trading performance
- Build tools to streamline or automate processes
- Support traders with improvements based on market insights
