About the Role
You will develop and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, test plans, scenarios, use cases, scripts, and automation. You will perform integration, regression, and stress testing; document and report defects; investigate customer issues; monitor remediation and quality metrics; and provide technical guidance on quality needs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, QA Lead, or similar role
- Experience with manual and automated testing processes
- Experience with version control and issue tracking
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and development cycles
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes of issues
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science, or equivalent relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Ensure full lifecycle testing, including integration, regression, and stress testing
- Set up quality assurance policies and procedures according to release cycles
- Design, document, execute, and maintain test plans, scenarios, use cases, scripts, and procedures
- Document software defects using Jira
- Find and report defects and issues to Engineering and Product Management
- Investigate field and customer problems as needed
- Develop, execute, and maintain test automation systems and test scripts
- Provide input on functional requirements and potential problems
- Monitor bug remediation efforts and coordinate resolution
- Monitor metrics and develop improvements
- Provide technical guidance and educate coworkers on quality needs
- Prioritize and multitask across projects
