About the Role
You will own quality for the web application through manual exploratory testing and automated test development. You will create repeatable test cases and SOPs, report and track bugs, run regression tests, integrate automation into CI, define QA standards, and provide release sign off while working independently.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of QA or software testing experience
- Manual testing and test automation experience
- Experience with Playwright Cypress Jest or Vitest
- JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency
- API testing experience with Postman REST clients or code-based API tests
- Knowledge of testing fundamentals including test cases exploratory testing regression testing and bug reporting
- Familiarity with Git and CI environments such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Strong written communication
- Ability to establish a QA function independently
- Web3 familiarity and understanding of blockchain and crypto
Responsibilities
- Perform manual and exploratory testing
- Write and maintain test cases and SOPs
- Build and maintain end-to-end integration and API tests in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Integrate automated tests into the CI pipeline
- Report and track bugs
- Run regression testing
- Own release quality and communicate risk
- Define QA severity levels test coverage environments and workflows
