About the Role
You will own quality engineering for either Strium or Startale App, depending on your experience and interests. You will define QA and release criteria, quality metrics, and testable acceptance criteria. You will build, operate, modernize, and expand scalable E2E automation, primarily through CI/CD. You will validate transaction logic, APIs, frontend and backend consistency, and high-throughput system performance. You will also design reproducible test environments and data, and proactively clarify ambiguous requirements across engineering and product.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of QA experience in web, mobile, financial systems, or fintech products, including 2+ years in test automation
- Have built an E2E testing framework using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or Selenium
- Write test automation code
- Have experience testing complex transactions
- Have designed maintainable automated test suites integrated with CI
- Work autonomously as the sole QA professional for a product or team and clarify ambiguous requirements across teams
- Have conversational English proficiency or higher
- Learn unfamiliar domains quickly
- Have experience with E2E automation for exchanges, securities, or financial systems
- Have knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, or on-chain transactions
- Have practical experience with load-testing tools such as k6 or Artillery
- Understand trading concepts such as slippage, liquidity, and execution flows
Responsibilities
- Define QA standards, release criteria, and quality metrics
- Design, build, and operate scalable E2E automated test frameworks
- Validate transaction logic, including execution paths, price impact, and fee calculations
- Modernize, optimize, and expand the existing E2E testing platform
- Test API responses and frontend behavior for consistency
- Conduct API load and stress tests for high-throughput scenarios
- Design reproducible test environments and test data
- Define testable acceptance criteria with engineering and product stakeholders
