About the Role
You will own the design and buildout of core clearing infrastructure across brokerage custody ledgers asset movement and global market expansion. You will define architecture for accounts positions balances journals settlements stock records and regulatory books and records. You will design multi-currency systems for multiple asset classes and partner with engineering to prototype and build clearing services. You will translate clearing custody and regulatory requirements into product and engineering requirements while working with operations finance treasury compliance legal risk and product.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management technical program management or engineering on brokerage clearing or post-trade infrastructure
- 10+ years in brokerage clearing custody prime brokerage trading infrastructure financial market infrastructure or capital markets technology
- Depth in settlement and stock record books and records corporate actions margin ACATS or DTCC processing
- Highly technical and able to design scalable systems with engineers
- Experience working with compliance legal and operations in a regulated broker-dealer environment
- Strong operating judgment across risk efficiency capital allocation feasibility time and budget
- Experience leading senior teams and influencing across functions
- Experience building modernizing or converting corporate-action processing a security master or a self-clearing back office
- Experience with global brokerage expansion international equities FX local market custody omnibus models sub-ledgers and currency controls
- Familiarity with the B2B2C correspondent or broker-as-a-service model
- Experience using AI-native product management tools
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term clearing platform architecture
- Design multi-currency cash and position systems
- Prototype and build clearing services with engineering
- Coordinate with operations finance treasury compliance legal risk and product
- Translate clearing custody and regulatory requirements into product requirements
- Scale clearing infrastructure across asset classes account types trading hours and partner institutions
- Design systems for accounts positions balances ledgers journals settlements and stock records
- Embed reconciliation segregation margin and reserve controls into the platform
