About the Role
You will lead and own product design across the thirdweb product stack, designing thoughtful developer and end-user experiences for Dashboard, Connect SDK, Contracts, Engine, Insights and Nebula. You will run the end-to-end design process: research, ideation, prototyping, testing and handoff. You will partner closely with Product and Engineering to define product direction, identify UX pain points, and drive product decisions. You will create and maintain a cohesive design system, visual language and iconography, run user interviews and usability tests, organize design reviews, and act on insights. You will mentor and lead designers, give and receive constructive feedback, and ensure designs are implemented to a high standard.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience on a product design team for developer-focused applications
- 2+ years experience in a leadership role
- Proven track record of shipping designs with engineering and product
- Deep experience with Figma and modern design tools
- Experience with design systems
- Strong user-centered design and interaction design skills
- Strong visual design and prototyping skills
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Web3 consumer products and trends
- Ownership mentality and ability to work in fast paced environments
Responsibilities
- Lead product design for the entire product stack
- Own and champion design philosophy and approach
- Execute end-to-end product design from concept to implementation
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define direction and roadmap
- Identify user experience pain points and design elegant solutions
- Create and maintain a cohesive design system and style guide
- Develop visual iconography and interaction patterns
- Conduct user interviews and usability tests and act on insights
- Organize and lead design reviews
- Mentor and lead a small team of designers
