About the Role
You will install, operate, and troubleshoot plant fluid systems; interpret technical drawings; repair equipment; verify sensors; wire support equipment; conduct pressure testing; support commissioning; and follow site safety procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of experience using mechanical and/or electronics hand tools
- 3+ years of pipe-fitting and fabrication experience
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
- Availability for overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed
Responsibilities
- Support fuel gas, ammonia, water, air, HVAC, and balance-of-plant systems
- Read and interpret planning documents, P&IDs, schematics, manuals, drawings, blueprints, and engineering sketches
- Repair or replace faulty process and utility equipment components
- Connect and verify transducers, thermocouples, and sensors
- Wire electrical support equipment
- Perform high-pressure liquid and pneumatic testing
- Troubleshoot and repair operational fluid-system issues
- Follow lockout/tagout, hot-work, confined-space, and site safety procedures
- Support system walkdowns, drawing redlines, operability, and maintainability
