About the Role
You will build and own production systems for a cloud-native privileged access platform and AI security capabilities. You will develop Go services, distributed systems, identity integrations, secure gateways, and AI guardrails while providing technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, and mentoring.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- 4+ years at a Principal or Staff level building large-scale security or identity products
- Deep knowledge of IAM and PAM
- Hands-on expertise in OAuth2/OIDC and PKI
- Expert-level proficiency in Go or a strong systems-language background
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and distributed data stores
- Experience building or securing LLM-based systems is preferred
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Design and ship core Go services for PingOne Privilege
- Build MCP gateways, AI agent identity and governance, and AI security guardrails
- Develop highly available multi-region services on Kubernetes
- Implement integrations with OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and certificate-based authentication
- Build secure proxy and gateway layers for infrastructure and applications
- Conduct code and design reviews
- Mentor engineers and drive cross-team technical decisions
