About the Role
You will research programming systems for heterogeneous extreme-scale computing. You will advance LLVM optimization workflows, investigate AI-guided hardware and software co-design, profile and optimize distributed HPC code, and explore unified compiler and runtime approaches for classical, quantum, and analog computing.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong experience with LLVM and HPC programming in C++, MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, or related models
- Understanding of distributed-memory systems and many-core architectures
- Completion of all degree requirements before the appointment starts
- Ph.D. received no more than five years before the application date
Responsibilities
- Advance the LLVM toolchain for closed-loop optimization environments
- Investigate AI-guided architecture design for heterogeneous systems
- Profile, model, and optimize distributed code using HPC technologies
- Explore compiler and runtime approaches that unify classical, quantum, and analog execution models
