About the Role

You will develop and evaluate frontier methods for trustworthy AI, including human-AI interaction, fairness, transparency, privacy, and robustness. You will validate approaches on real-world problems with domain experts and stakeholders, and publish and present research at leading machine-learning, AI ethics, society, and policy venues.

Requirements

  • Have completed or be near completion of a PhD in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrate expertise in one or more trustworthy AI areas, such as human-AI interaction, fairness, transparency, interpretability, privacy, or robustness
  • Have a strong understanding of machine-learning methods
  • Demonstrate excellent mathematical and programming skills
  • Be eligible to live and work in the UK
