About the Role

You will co-design and lead research projects from conception through dissemination. You will develop retrieval-augmented generation, source-grounding, and AI evaluation methods; design field and survey experiments; analyze complex data; and lead publications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary researchers and civic partners, communicate findings to academic and policy audiences, develop research proposals, and pursue complementary independent research.

Requirements

• Complete a PhD by the appointment start date in a relevant field
• Demonstrate rigorous, creative research and the ability to lead projects through publication
• Possess quantitative or computational research skills in relevant methods
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
• Work collaboratively across disciplines and organizations while exercising autonomy
• Possess organizational and interpersonal skills and prioritize effectively

Responsibilities

• Co-design and co-lead research projects from study conception through dissemination
• Advance retrieval-augmented generation, source-grounding, and evaluation methods
• Develop approaches to assess AI accuracy, reliability, neutrality, and trustworthiness
• Design and execute large-scale field and survey experiments
• Analyze complex data and lead manuscripts for journals and conferences
• Collaborate with researchers and civic partners and communicate findings to academic, practitioner, and policy audiences
• Contribute to research projects and proposals while pursuing independent work
