About the Role
You will convert podcast audio into accurate, readable written transcripts in Lithuanian. You will listen carefully to audio, identify speakers and structure dialogue, ensure correct grammar, punctuation and formatting, edit and proofread transcripts for clarity, meet turnaround times, follow provided style guides, and use transcription tools as needed. Work is fully remote with a flexible schedule and payments are calculated by total audio hours completed.
Requirements
- Fluency in Lithuanian
- Strong command of grammar spelling and written communication in Lithuanian
- Ability to understand different accents and varying audio quality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in audio transcription (nice to have)
- Familiarity with transcription tools (nice to have)
- Experience with bilingual transcription or translation (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Transcribe podcast episodes from audio to text in Lithuanian with high accuracy
- Ensure proper grammar punctuation and formatting throughout transcripts
- Identify speakers and structure dialogue clearly
