About the Role
You will review timecard data before payroll submission, investigate errors, and maintain accurate records. You will coordinate payroll cycles and transactions with HR colleagues and a third-party payroll provider. You will ensure compliance with payroll regulations, prepare periodic reports, communicate across the company, and protect the confidentiality of HR files.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Understanding of multi-state payroll
- Proficiency with Excel
- Experience with Workday Payroll
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking
- Problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Review timecard data before payroll submission and investigate data errors
- Coordinate with HR team members to ensure timely payroll cycles and transactions
- Work with the third-party payroll provider and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Compile payroll, workers' compensation, and special management reports
- Communicate with stakeholders at all company levels
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records
