About the Role
You will process and reconcile United States payrolls, administer time tracking, process benefits and equity transactions, and coordinate with payroll partners. You will produce payroll reports and journal entries, support reconciliations, answer employee payroll questions, and improve payroll workflows.
Requirements
- 4+ years of United States payroll processing experience
- Knowledge of United States payroll compliance, payroll tax, and labor law
- In-house payroll system experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas
- Ability to use AI tools thoughtfully in payroll workflows
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bi-weekly, quarterly, and off-cycle United States payrolls in Workday
- Administer Workday Time Tracking for non-exempt hourly employees
- Process leave-of-absence amounts, fringe benefits, equity transactions, and retirement contributions
- Coordinate with ADP on garnishments, taxes, and net pay
- Improve payroll workflows with People, Finance, and external payroll partners
- Serve as the first contact for United States payroll inquiries
- Generate and analyze payroll reports in Workday
- Prepare month-end United States payroll journal entries
- Assist with balance-sheet reconciliations
- Support the Senior Payroll Analyst
- Complete ad hoc payroll duties
