About the Role

You will lead and execute marketing initiatives to increase adoption and awareness of the protocol. You will develop data-driven campaigns, own the marketing calendar, coordinate content and event logistics, and measure ROI for acquisition and retention efforts. You will collaborate with design, engineering, and BD to plan and launch major product and partnership announcements, and engage directly with users and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights.

Requirements

  • Proven track record leading and scaling marketing initiatives and teams at major L1s or DeFi protocols
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, business development, sales, or finance, preferably in blockchain or fintech
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology and communities, particularly EVM and Cosmos ecosystems
  • Experience managing social accounts and media/advertising initiatives (Twitter, Discord, Instagram, Facebook, Google)
  • Experience with lead generation, nurture campaigns, conversion optimization, and measuring ROI
  • Thorough knowledge of DeFi, NFT-fi, and GameFi landscapes
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience building and scaling marketing teams for crypto-native and traditional brands
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to prioritize product features and marketing opportunities
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and WordPress is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data-driven marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Own the marketing calendar and develop go-to-market strategies for product launches
  • Evangelize and onboard new users across traditional and crypto-native channels
  • Organize in-person and virtual events for the community and ecosystem
  • Direct logistics for content creation and advertising campaigns
  • Drive and quantify user acquisition, retention, and growth
  • Determine ROI and expected value of marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the blockchain market and competition
  • Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and BD to support product launches
  • Act as a user and protocol advocate, engaging with users and stakeholders
