About the Role
You support the Music Marketing team by managing schedules, spreadsheets, communications, expenses, contracts, client information, marketing assets, and promotional materials. You coordinate with agents, managers, promoters, and internal teams to launch shows and tours, review marketing details, and maximize ticket sales.
Requirements
- Previous assistant experience, ideally in the entertainment industry
- General understanding of the music industry and talent agencies
- Knowledge of leading social media and digital platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent organizational skills
- Discretion when handling sensitive client matters
- Ability to prioritize a busy workload
- Ability to develop business relationships
- Previous experience in a related field is desirable
Responsibilities
- Manage phones, calendars, research, meetings, and calls
- Maintain spreadsheets and draft communications
- Build processes that benefit the business
- Liaise with internal staff, clients, and partners
- Prepare and submit monthly expense reports
- Track contracts, client calendars, and payments
- Collect assets, content, and information for marketing letters
- Coordinate show and tour announcements and on-sale launches
- Collect marketing plans, promotional materials, ticket links, and ticket headers from promoters
- Create marketing, ticketing, and radio grids
- Review websites, social media sites, and ticketing sites for accurate tour information and images
