About the Role
You will develop, improve, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing test software for component and subassembly configuration, verification, and testing. You will productionize engineering test prototypes, integrate test solutions with MES, PLM, and traceability systems, optimize database operations, improve operator interfaces, and manage test code repositories.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of manufacturing test development experience
- Experience transitioning validation testing into manufacturing test systems
- Proficiency in Python and C# for production, testing, and automation
- Understanding of I2C, UART, USB, UDS, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and Automotive Ethernet
- Experience with manufacturing test execution platforms such as ATEasy, NI TestStand, or Keysight Test Exec
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience using DMMs, oscilloscopes, DAQs, power supplies, and electronic loads
- Basic understanding of AWS Infrastructure services
- Experience with Ubuntu, Debian, and Windows
- Ability to read electrical or mechanical schematics and diagrams
- Ability to manage multiple software releases across product categories
Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing test software
- Automate configuration, verification, and testing of components and subassemblies
- Improve manufacturing test frameworks and execution platforms
- Translate engineering test prototypes into production-grade test platforms
- Integrate manufacturing test solutions with MES, PLM, and traceability systems
- Improve operator-facing manufacturing user interfaces
- Collaborate on test coverage, metrics, APIs, and secure test deployment
- Optimize database operations for traceability, dashboards, and process-flow enforcement
- Manage test code repositories using GitHub
