About the Role
You will lead fraud analytics within the ongoing monitoring function. You will use data to balance fraud losses, customer friction and regulatory obligations, identify process improvements, build the fraud analytics roadmap, explain strategy to non-technical stakeholders, and manage daily analytics processes against KPIs.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in analytics
- Financial crime experience preferred
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Data visualisation skills
- Python preferred
- Experience handling complex data structures
- Experience in rule building, back testing and optimisation
- Experience with fraud compliance and regulation
- Experience building and optimising business processes
Responsibilities
- Identify and quantify data-driven decisions to reduce fraud exposure
- Balance fraud losses, user friction and regulatory obligations
- Translate compliance and business requirements into solutions
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Contribute to the fraud analytics roadmap
- Articulate fraud analytics strategy to the business
- Lead daily analytics processes
- Ensure fraud risks are mitigated and KPIs are met
- Communicate financial crime processes to stakeholders
