About the Role
You will build self-service AI performance tools across models, hardware targets, and development workflows. You will analyze profiling data, measure and predict performance, identify efficiency losses, monitor regressions, and use data to establish performance targets with engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hands-on performance engineering experience
- Experience with profiling, roofline analysis, latency optimization, and throughput optimization
- Experience owning a tool or service end to end
- Strong Python skills
- Experience profiling and instrumenting production codebases
- Experience developing deep learning models with PyTorch
- Data analysis skills
- Quantitative communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable self-service performance tools
- Measure and predict AI performance
- Model theoretical platform performance and identify efficiency losses
- Predict latency, memory, utilization, and compute cost
- Own monitoring and regression alerting for model builds and training runs
- Set performance targets with training and runtime engineers
- Make performance recommendations using data
Benefits
- Hybrid working policy
- Time working from home
