About the Role
You will lead a small but highly effective team of Cloud Platform Engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and hands-on leadership. You will design, manage, and continuously improve the cloud-native platform on Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. You will take ownership of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, including cluster architecture, lifecycle management, upgrades, security hardening, capacity planning, and operational excellence. You will administer and optimize GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps services, including repository governance, CI/CD platform capabilities, access management, automation, and developer workflows. You will establish and evolve observability capabilities using Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, and related tooling. You will collaborate closely with product development teams to improve developer productivity and platform reliability through Internal Development Platform (IDP) capabilities. You will support second-line and ISO teams in meeting IT compliance requirements. You will drive platform reliability and operational excellence through infrastructure-as-code, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development, development operations, and release management.
- 3+ years of experience in team leadership.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud architecture best practices: security, reliability, performance efficiency, operational excellence, and costs management.
- Proven experience in building cloud solutions in highly regulated environments.
- Hands-on experience in Terraform, Shell scripting, Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines implementation.
- Enthusiasm for blockchain technologies; blockchain knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Fluent in English (>B2); German is a plus.

- Support second-line and ISO teams in meeting IT compliance requirements related to security, risk management, business continuity, incident management, ICT outsourcing, and governance.
- Drive platform reliability and operational excellence through infrastructure-as-code, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take technical ownership of cloud-based platforms and services, ensuring technical quality, maintainability, scalability, and long-term strategic evolution.
