About the Role

You will support business development and transaction execution by conducting financial and valuation analyses, building financial models, researching industries, and leading due diligence. You will prepare proposals and presentations, participate in client meetings, manage client relationships, identify process improvements, and train and mentor analysts.

Requirements

• MBA degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Internship or prior work experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
• Pass the SIE Exam before employment and Series 79 and Series 63 within 90 days of employment.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, writing, verbal, and computer skills.
• Ability to adapt to new tasks with little notice.
• Ability to manage senior banker expectations while working on multiple projects.
• Leadership and coaching skills.
• Sophisticated understanding of accounting and finance.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% to 30%.
• No current or future employment visa sponsorship requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and valuation analyses for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions.
• Review and guide analysts' work.
• Build advanced financial models to value clients and industries.
• Lead due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation for potential and live transactions.
• Identify potential deal issues and communicate concerns to team members.
• Develop presentations and test hypotheses to highlight financial analysis and research results.
• Develop and deliver proposals and presentations to clients and prospects.
• Participate in client meetings and drafting sessions.
• Research industries and sectors, monitor key industry drivers, and provide business-trend insights.
• Evaluate and improve BIC content.
• Identify process improvements and propose efficient solutions.
• Manage client relationships and communicate with finance and accounting staff.
• Assess macroeconomic factors related to client industries and investment banking products.
• Train analysts and provide constructive feedback on analyst and summer intern work.
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
