About the Role
You will help design, build, and maintain a unified data infrastructure platform for analytics instrumentation. You will develop backend systems that provide visibility into customer usage across SaaS and self-managed environments, improve data quality and usage-billing accuracy, support production systems during working hours, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable, easy-to-use solutions.
Requirements
- Experience working with platform or infrastructure systems in production environments.
- Proficiency in Go and experience building and maintaining production services.
- Backend development experience contributing to scalable, reliable systems.
- Familiarity with system reliability, performance at scale, data quality, and observability.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with product teams, data consumers, and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and open-source development practices.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a unified data collection platform using Golang, Kubernetes, ClickHouse, and NATS.
- Improve the emission, transit, and quality of instrumentation data.
- Support usage billing and instrumentation systems during working hours.
- Work with research and development teams and the enterprise data organization to deliver common solutions.
- Contribute to technical choices that balance ease of use, reliability, and correctness.
