About the Role
You build the core services, APIs, automation, and infrastructure-as-code that power a unified internal cloud platform. You bridge public cloud and on-premises environments, develop CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with engineering teams on self-service features, and troubleshoot complex reliability issues.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Go or Python
- Experience building and maintaining distributed systems
- Understanding of REST and gRPC API design
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization frameworks
- Experience building infrastructure platforms in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering
- Experience designing and building end-to-end systems
- Hands-on experience with on-premises environments, virtualization, networking, and server hardware
- Experience with Terraform or Pulumi
- Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems
- Security-first approach
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry is advantageous
- Familiarity with GitLab CI or GitHub Actions is advantageous
- Deep understanding of AWS, GCP, or Azure is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate core platform services, APIs, and automation
- Bridge public cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Manage infrastructure declaratively with Terraform or Pulumi
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate customer needs into platform features
- Troubleshoot complex issues across the stack
- Participate in a blameless on-call rotation
- Ensure platform availability and performance
