About the Role
You will own medium-range forecasts for infrastructure resources, compare plans with observed fleet utilization, qualify capacity purchases, and partner with Finance and efficiency teams to guide infrastructure spending and optimization.
Requirements
- Experience with capacity, demand, or supply planning for large-scale technical infrastructure
- SQL and Python or pandas forecasting and optimization experience
- Knowledge of data-center resource classes, including storage, egress, and accelerators
- Ability to build inspectable forecasting models and measure forecast error
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Build and own multi-resource demand forecasts
- Compare planned allocations with observed fleet occupancy and resolve variances
- Qualify capacity tranches against demand forecasts
- Partner with Finance and cost-efficiency teams to develop spending drivers and target savings
