About the Role

You will lead health, safety, and environmental operations across a leased campus where construction, commissioning, and live operations occur simultaneously. You will review designs for hazards, establish engineering controls, manage electrical hazardous-energy control, oversee workers’ compensation cases, and maintain safety and environmental records for inspections and leadership review.

Requirements

• Experience running site safety on a data center or heavy-industrial build with construction, commissioning, and energized systems on one campus.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Experience reviewing design and commissioning packages and implementing engineering controls in drawings.
• Experience managing workers’ compensation claims through closure.
• Experience building or operating return-to-work and transitional-duty programs.
• Experience maintaining OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 records through an inspection or audit.

Responsibilities

• Own HSE across a leased campus with construction, commissioning, and live operations.
• Review design and commissioning packages and incorporate engineering controls into drawings.
• Manage hazardous-energy control across electrical distribution, including switching plans, LOTO, and zero-energy verification.
• Manage workers’ compensation and case management from injury reporting through treatment, carrier and TPA handoff, and fitness for duty.
• Define transitional duty to return shift-based field crews to modified work.
• Maintain OSHA, New York state, stormwater, air-permit, claims, and near-miss records.
