About the Role

You identify fundamentally driven trading opportunities, collaborate with traders to capture them, perform scenario analysis around events and catalysts, analyse time-sensitive company headlines, develop research processes, identify market inefficiencies, build industry networks, and use AI-enabled tools to analyse and validate market information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM, Finance, Economics or business-related subject
• Available to start full-time work in August 2027
• Genuine interest in financial markets
• Willingness to learn new techniques and skills and teach others
• Ability to develop fundamental research-driven ideas independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Time management, organizational and multitasking skills
• Computer programming experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify fundamentally driven trading opportunities
• Work with traders to capture trading opportunities
• Perform scenario analysis for upcoming events and catalysts
• Analyse time-sensitive company headlines
• Assess the impact of events on volatility and stock prices
• Develop research processes
• Identify areas of market inefficiency
• Build relevant industry networks
• Use AI-enabled tools to analyse news, events and company information
• Validate AI tool output and improve research tooling
