About the Role
You will design and build payment infrastructure including processor integrations, transaction pipelines, settlement and reconciliation workflows. You will own critical financial flows end to end, implement retry and failure recovery logic, and ensure data integrity across providers and chains. You will contribute to APIs and dashboards, write design docs, participate in paid on-call rotations, manage incidents, and help onboard and mentor newer engineers.
Requirements
- 4+ years building and maintaining production backend systems
- Experience with payment or transaction critical infrastructure or financial data
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript or another typed modern language
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals including idempotency, consistency, failure handling, and async workflows
- Fluent in English
- Hands-on integration experience with Stripe Adyen or similar payment processors
- Exposure to stablecoin infrastructure crypto payments wallets or cross-chain systems
- Experience operating financial systems in regulated environments
