About the Role
You'll join the Collection Engineering team, building the tools and platform that power Elliptic's intelligence operation. You'll design and build services and tooling that scale the collection effort, remove bottlenecks, and free the intelligence team to focus on the work only humans can do. You'll collaborate with analysts and researchers to understand their processes and automate them away, develop software to analyse cryptocurrency usage behaviours and trends, and implement observability mechanisms to detect and resolve problems in your environments. Your work will directly help trace stolen funds, identify ransomware actors, and enable sanctions enforcement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience
- Proficient in Typescript, plus React, Nest.js
- Familiar with Postgres and K8s
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, Datadog
- Has worked in an intelligence collection setting (bonus)
- Experience with big data technologies, data management, and data pipelines (bonus)

- Design and build software tools to improve and enhance intelligence collection and analysis efforts
- Collaborate with analysts and researchers to understand their processes and automate them away

- Implement observability mechanisms to detect problems in your environments and resolve them
