About the Role
You will design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for warehouse execution and fleet management applications on the web and industrial Android devices. You will create reusable components, integrate backend APIs, improve stability and performance, enhance testing and release pipelines, resolve production issues, and occasionally travel to customer sites.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent academic or professional experience.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Product development experience using desktop, mobile, or web UI frameworks.
- Familiarity with Linux software development and toolchains.
- English communication skills sufficient for technical discussions and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for warehouse execution and fleet management applications across web and industrial Android devices.
- Build reusable, high-performance UI components for real-time operational data and long-running warehouse workflows.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate operational requirements into accessible user experiences.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and deliver end-to-end features with backend engineers.
- Improve application stability, responsiveness, and maintainability through profiling, debugging, and refactoring.
- Develop and improve testing, localization, build, and release pipelines.
- Investigate and resolve production issues with engineering and operations teams.
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites in Japan and abroad to understand operational needs and support deployment.
