FP&A Analyst

About the Role

You will own budgeting and forecasting across multiple departments, produce monthly forecasts, and manage departmental budgets. You will build, maintain, and communicate performance reports and assist in preparing quarterly board materials. You will help implement and maintain the FP&A system, participate in cross-functional projects, and work closely with operations to handle billing and compensation. You will use data to drive recommendations and clearly communicate financial insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Profound understanding of finance and accounting
  • 2+ years of relevant experience with tech startups
  • Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or data science
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to utilize data to drive and communicate decisions effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with business visualization tools such as Sigma or Tableau (preferred)
  • SQL experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and report department budgets
  • Support budget owners in making strategic financial investment decisions
  • Conduct monthly forecasting
  • Build, communicate, and maintain performance reports
  • Prepare quarterly materials for board meetings
  • Implement and maintain the FP&A system
  • Collaborate with operations on billing and compensation for GTM functions
  • Participate in interdepartmental projects and strategic decision-making
