About the Role
You will build full-stack AI products for mechanical and electrical engineering workflows. You will own projects from customer discovery and prototyping through production, create intuitive interfaces, develop services and integrations, evaluate product quality, and help establish the team's technical foundations.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping substantial software products across frontend and backend systems
- Product judgment and UI design experience for complex workflows
- Experience working directly with users
- Ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into working products
- Experience with CAD, CAE, simulation, electrical design, or related software is particularly relevant
- Experience building interactive visual, spatial, or technically complex tools is particularly relevant
- Experience connecting engineering tools through APIs, plugins, or extensions is particularly relevant
- Experience building AI-powered applications and evaluating reliability is particularly relevant
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack AI products for design and simulation tasks
- Own projects from customer discovery and prototyping through production deployment and iteration
- Create interfaces for inspecting and refining engineering outputs
- Develop backend services, APIs, plugins, and integrations with engineering software
- Work with customers to identify engineering needs and create useful products
- Partner with research, design, platform, and forward deployed engineering partners
- Evaluate quality and reliability using customer feedback and product evidence
- Establish technical foundations and engineering practices
