About the Role
On this role you will be the primary builder and architect of the internal AI copilot platform You will ship production ready systems end to end from backend services and data pipelines to lightweight user interfaces You will apply modern AI capabilities to real operational problems across teams You will rapidly prototype and iterate based on real user feedback balancing speed with sound system design You will collaborate cross functionally to identify high leverage automation opportunities You will help define and evolve Ondo internal AI roadmap as usage scales In the first 6 months you might ship an internal Copilot that answers cross functional questions and routes workflows You will automate operational workflows end to end between Slack Notion and internal services You will build a small RAG platform that other engineers can plug into
Requirements
- 6–12+ years of experience as a backend or full stack software engineer operating at a Senior or Staff IC level
- Strong systems design experience building scalable services data pipelines and integrations across multiple internal tools
- Experience shipping production grade software end-to-end from architecture through deployment and monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to apply modern AI tools such as LLM APIs retrieval systems and automation frameworks to real world workflows without overengineering
- Strong product judgment and ability to independently identify high leverage problems and deliver pragmatic solutions
- Comfortable operating as a founding IC with high autonomy and minimal oversight
