About the Role
You will lead engineers building APIs, developer tools, and infrastructure for production agents. You will set priorities, guide architecture and API design, work with customers and cross-functional partners, and recruit and develop engineers.
Requirements
- Experience managing high-performing software engineering teams that ship developer products
- Experience with hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Product and customer orientation
- Experience building and scaling distributed production systems
- Technical depth in architecture and API design
- Ability to lead fast-moving teams with high quality standards
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers and own planning, prioritization, delivery, and operational health
- Partner with product to set the team roadmap
- Talk with customers and turn learnings into engineering priorities
- Guide API design and distributed-systems architecture decisions
- Work with Research, Safeguards, Security, and go-to-market teams to safely deliver model capabilities
- Recruit, coach, and develop engineers
