About the Role

You will lead and grow a cross-functional engineering group working on Axion autonomy toolchain modules. You will define technical roadmaps, drive delivery, uphold engineering quality, manage project risks, and collaborate with product, design, hardware, operations, and defense customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of software engineering experience with increasing responsibility
  • 1–2 years of leadership experience delivering complex systems
  • Experience with architecture, design, implementation, and delivery of large-scale high-performance software systems
  • Experience managing the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience mentoring and growing engineering teams
  • Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • US citizenship and eligibility for an active US Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and grow engineers working on Axion modules
  • Define and own the technical roadmap for your area
  • Drive architecture design, code reviews, CI/CD, test automation, and quality practices
  • Manage sprint and release planning, delivery risks, and milestones
  • Collaborate with product management and UX/design to refine requirements
  • Coordinate with hardware, integration, and operations teams
  • Recruit talent, set goals, and communicate status and risks to leadership
  • Apply emerging simulation, autonomy, AI, real-time systems, and human-machine interface technologies
