About the Role
You will own sourcing for switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, and busway. You will negotiate capacity reservations, dual-source equipment with engineering, track factory slots and production milestones, and manage supply risks that could affect delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Experience sourcing major electrical equipment for large construction programs.
- Experience reserving factory capacity ahead of firm designs and managing commercial risk.
- Knowledge of electrical-equipment lead times by product class.
- Experience expediting equipment through factories.
- MV/HV equipment experience.
- Utility-scale generation experience.
- OFCI program experience.
- Factory witness testing experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the electrical equipment category, including switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, and busway.
- Negotiate capacity reservations with electrical OEMs.
- Convert capacity reservations to orders as the pipeline firms.
- Dual-source major equipment classes with engineering.
- Track supplier factory slots and production milestones.
