About the Role
You will design and specify electrical power systems for facilities and data centers. You will support technicians with troubleshooting, evaluate electrical equipment, coordinate installations and maintenance with utilities, verify system compatibility, and ensure designs and installations comply with applicable codes and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline
- 3+ years of professional experience with electrical projects, power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS units, or generators
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed electrical designs and specifications for facility systems
- Support technicians in troubleshooting electrical equipment and controllers
- Support the design, operation, and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems
- Perform load-flow analysis and electrical equipment evaluation
- Ensure electrical equipment interfaces properly with mechanical and electrical systems
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with utility personnel
- Ensure designs and installations comply with applicable codes and regulations
- Perform code review and analysis
