About the Role
You will design wiring architectures, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, diagrams, pinouts, and schematics for electromechanical systems. You will integrate sensors, computing systems, actuators, and power electronics; select connectors and cables; support prototype debugging, manufacturing, and validation testing.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of electrical engineering experience with wire harnesses, cable assemblies, or electrical interconnect systems
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or a related field
- Experience designing wiring harnesses for complex electromechanical or robotic systems
- Experience producing electrical drawings, harness documentation, wiring diagrams, and system-level documentation
- Knowledge of connectors, shielding, grounding, and cable management
- Experience integrating sensors, computer hardware, power systems, and actuators
- Experience diagnosing electrical integration issues with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
- Experience with robotic, aerospace, automotive, or defense-related hardware systems
- Experience with MIL-STD practices or other high-reliability manufacturing standards
Responsibilities
- Design wire harness systems and cable assemblies
- Integrate sensors, computing systems, actuators, and power electronics
- Develop wiring diagrams, pinout documentation, harness drawings, and schematics
- Select connectors, shielding, grounding, and cable-routing solutions
- Collaborate on harness routing, packaging, strain relief, and protection
- Support hardware bring-up and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Support harness manufacturing and quality verification
- Test and validate electrical harnesses and integrated systems
