About the Role
You will design, build, and validate automated test systems for UAV hardware. You will develop interface PCBs and test fixtures, automate test sequences with Python, support design reviews, and improve hardware testability across electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience, or undergraduate, graduate, or PhD student expected to graduate in 2026
- Foundation in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles
- Experience with multidisciplinary hardware projects
- Record of ownership, innovation, and delivering results in complex technical environments
- Python or other scripting-language proficiency is preferred
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCAD, or Eagle is preferred
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and own test systems for critical UAV components and subsystems from concept through validation
- Work across power electronics, RF, communications, and system integration
- Develop PCBs that interface test stands with devices under test
- Build automated test fixtures using relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnessing
- Automate test sequences using Python
- Contribute to cross-functional design reviews and advocate for testability improvements
- Adapt test solutions in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Perform other assigned duties
