About the Role

You will monitor and maintain the electrical infrastructure that supports mining farm operations, ensuring stable power distribution to mining containers, buildings, and auxiliary systems. You'll perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of transformers, RMUs, switchgear, MCCBs, ACBs, PDUs, cables, and power systems, and respond promptly to electrical faults, outages, overload conditions, and emergencies. You'll support installation, energization, and commissioning of mining containers and electrical equipment, monitor power consumption and efficiency, and troubleshoot power-related downtime affecting mining performance. You'll monitor electrical parameters, maintain accurate records and incident reports, and recommend corrective actions. You'll ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, conduct inspections, and support safety improvement initiatives. You'll work closely with operations, facilities, and maintenance teams, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and participate in daily operational meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in industrial electrical systems, data centers, or BTC mining operations is preferred
  • Knowledge of transformers, RMUs, switchgear, PDUs, generators, and power distribution systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and technical documents
  • Familiarity with high-density power environments and 24/7 operational facilities
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in shift-based and emergency response environments

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the electrical infrastructure supporting mining farm operations
  • Ensure stable power distribution to mining containers, buildings, and auxiliary systems
  • Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of transformers, RMUs, switchgear, MCCBs, ACBs, PDUs, cables, and power systems
  • Respond promptly to electrical faults, outages, overload conditions, and emergency situations
  • Coordinate electrical shutdown and startup activities during maintenance or operational requirements
  • Ensure proper load balancing and electrical safety across the mining farm
  • Support installation, energization, and commissioning of mining containers and electrical equipment
  • Monitor power consumption and electrical efficiency of mining operations
  • Troubleshoot power-related miner downtime and electrical abnormalities affecting mining performance
  • Assist with expansion projects, electrical upgrades, and infrastructure modifications
  • Ensure proper grounding, cable routing, and electrical connections within mining facilities
  • Monitor electrical parameters including voltage, current, temperature, load, and power quality
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, incident reports, and operational logs
  • Report recurring electrical issues and recommend corrective actions or improvements
  • Assist in preparing operational reports related to electrical system performance and downtime
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, SOPs, and company policies
  • Conduct electrical safety inspections and identify potential hazards
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices during electrical work
  • Support implementation of safety improvement initiatives and emergency response procedures
  • Work closely with mining operations, facilities, and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors during electrical maintenance and project execution
  • Participate in daily operational meetings and provide updates on electrical system status and ongoing work
