About the Role
You will lead infrastructure, reliability, and automation initiatives to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms. You will design resilient systems, oversee cloud deployments across AWS, GCP and Azure, implement Infrastructure as Code, automate CI/CD pipelines, ensure 24x7 availability, lead incident response and postmortems, and mentor the platform engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- 10 to 14 years in software engineering or infrastructure roles with 5+ years in senior leadership
- Expertise in AWS GCP Azure
- Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions ArgoCD GitLab CI
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK Datadog
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tooling including CloudFormation Ansible and Terraform
- Strong understanding of networking security and distributed systems concepts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in Blockchain and Web3 domain is a competitive advantage
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the platform engineering strategy focused on Kubernetes and DevOps
- Develop a roadmap to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance
- Oversee design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure (AWS GCP Azure)
- Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement automation for CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and secure delivery
- Ensure 24x7 availability and reliability of production systems
- Lead incident response, postmortems, and root cause analysis
- Set and uphold reliability metrics for critical services
- Monitor and optimize cloud usage and infrastructure costs
- Build and mentor a high-performing platform engineering team
