About the Role

You will evolve infrastructure and platform tooling to support a growing engineering organization. You will build and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines, improve observability and dashboards, and implement FinOps governance to optimize cloud spend. You will create internal developer tooling, define and measure SLOs, participate in on-call rotations, and work cross-functionally with product, security, and finance to align technical decisions with business needs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles
  • Proficiency in Python or Go and strong software engineering fundamentals
  • Proven ownership of production infrastructure and strong debugging skills for distributed systems
  • Experience designing and implementing secure infrastructure for regulated environments
  • Deep experience with Kubernetes and tools like ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform
  • Familiarity with GCP or other major cloud providers and strong focus on cloud cost management
  • Experience leveraging reserved instances/savings plans and implementing cost anomaly detection
  • Hands-on experience with FinOps tooling such as Kubecost or CloudHealth or building custom cost allocation tooling
  • Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines and internal developer tooling
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus or Datadog and participation in on-call rotation
  • FedRAMP experience or certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve DevOps and platform engineering functions including build, deployment, monitoring, and cost optimization
  • Design and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines to support rapid product iterations
  • Improve observability using Datadog, custom dashboards, and cloud monitoring
  • Implement and maintain FinOps governance including showback and chargeback models
  • Enable developer productivity by building internal tooling and reusable infrastructure modules
  • Define and measure SLOs to set standards for system health and reliability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, and finance to align technical spending with business goals
  • Shape DevOps best practices and drive long-term platform roadmap
