About the Role

You will help shape privacy governance for a global AI compute business with complex data protection needs. You will maintain core privacy governance, support assessments, manage data subject requests and help investigate incidents. You will also deliver training, produce metrics and track legislative change across multiple jurisdictions. You will sit within Quality and Compliance, working closely with engineering, operations, IT, facilities and corporate functions. You will keep governance moving, flag risks early and help teams act within deadlines, and you will have space to speak up, challenge assumptions and improve how data protection works.

Requirements

  • Experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, risk or a closely related field
  • Working knowledge of UK & EU GDPR and how to apply it in practice
  • Understanding of privacy risk assessments, data protection frameworks and supplier due diligence
  • Strong organisation across governance records, data inventories, retention schedules and statutory deadlines
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical teams, including confidence to speak up
  • Curiosity to track legislation, improve controls and turn privacy evidence into action
