About the Role
You will lead quality and commissioning delivery for multiple data center phases from preconstruction through turnover to operations. You will manage daily on-site QA/QC and commissioning activities, coordinate contractors, trade partners, and vendors, and support system commissioning and testing. You will enforce safety standards, monitor schedules and progress, identify and mitigate delays, ensure construction meets QA/QC standards and design specifications, communicate closely with design, engineering, construction, operations, and security stakeholders, and work with authorities and inspectors to meet regulatory and code requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale infrastructure or mission-critical projects (data center, industrial, or utility-scale)
- Deep understanding of construction delivery models, risk management, and vendor oversight
- Technical fluency with MEP systems
- Proven success managing and coordinating commissioning efforts
- Familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, BIM 360, Bluebeam, MS Project, and SharePoint
- PMP, LEED, or related certifications preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders
- Commitment to safety, quality, and executional excellence
Responsibilities
- Manage daily quality and commissioning construction activities on-site, ensuring safety, schedule, and compliance with design documents and Galaxy's standards
- Coordinate general contractors, trade partners, and vendors to align with milestones and quality expectations
- Support system commissioning, testing, and seamless turnover of facilities to operations
- Enforce safety standards and partner with internal and contractor safety teams to maintain a zero-incident work environment
- Monitor construction progress against the master schedule and coordinate mitigation strategies for potential delays
- Ensure all construction activities meet QA/QC standards and design specifications and escalate issues as needed
- Maintain close communication with design, engineering, construction, operations, and security stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Work with local authorities, inspectors, and consultants to ensure regulatory and code compliance
