About the Role
You will configure and operate CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, onboard log sources, parse and normalize telemetry, and develop CQL searches, correlation rules, dashboards, and detection rules. You will tune detections, reduce false positives, and work with IT and engineering to close detection gaps.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years in security engineering, detection engineering, or SOC operations
- Production experience with CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM
- CQL searches, correlation rules, and dashboards
- Log onboarding, connectors, data pipelines, and third-party integrations
- CrowdStrike Parsing Standard or ECS
- Detection rule authoring, tuning, and false-positive reduction
- CrowdStrike Falcon EDR, identity, and cloud telemetry
Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and operate CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM
- Author, tune, and maintain CQL searches, correlation rules, and dashboards
- Onboard log sources, connectors, data pipelines, and third-party integrations
- Parse and normalize telemetry
- Write and tune production detection rules
- Reduce false positives while maintaining detection coverage
- Operate across EDR, identity, and cloud telemetry
- Partner with IT and engineering to close detection gaps and improve security posture
