About the Role

Develop and implement cryptographic protocols, conduct research, evaluate cryptographic tools, and design, develop, or interpret zero-knowledge circuits. Enhance ZK framework implementations and stay current with zkEVMs, zero-knowledge proof protocols, and secure multiparty computation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of programming experience in Python
  • Production-level experience with a C-family language preferred, or solid reading ability in Rust, Go, or C++
  • Master's degree in cryptography or number theory, or a bachelor's degree in mathematics with relevant internship or research experience
  • Academic training such as a PhD in cryptography or multiple years of experience in cryptographic research and development
  • Understanding of public key encryption, elliptic curves, and hashing algorithms
  • Understanding of pairing-based cryptography, SNARKs, STARKs, ZKP aggregation, and incrementally verifiable computation
  • Familiarity with blockchain applications and methods
  • Prior published work in cryptography
