About the Role
Evaluate SME borrower applications end-to-end, analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, deliver credit recommendations, engage borrowers, collaborate across teams, refine underwriting, and improve credit processes, tools, and models.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, financial analysis, or SME lending
- Strong financial statement analysis skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Curiosity, problem-solving instincts, and an investigative mindset
- SQL or Python skills for underwriting and data analysis are nice to have
- Experience in fintech, alternative lending, or commercial banking is nice to have
- Familiarity with credit scoring models or statistical analysis is nice to have
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end borrower evaluations and deliver sound credit recommendations
- Analyze financial statements including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow to assess creditworthiness
- Engage borrowers directly to uncover the real credit story
- Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure smooth credit processes
- Partner with global credit leadership to refine the underwriting approach
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and credit models
