About the Role
You will evaluate SME borrower applications end-to-end, analyze P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements to assess creditworthiness, and deliver clear credit recommendations. You will engage borrowers to uncover the real credit story, work with sales and operations to execute credit processes, partner with credit leadership to refine underwriting, and identify opportunities to improve processes, tools and credit models.
Requirements
- 2–5 years experience in credit risk analysis financial analysis or SME lending
- Strong financial statement analysis skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Curiosity problem-solving instincts and an investigative mindset
- SQL skills (nice to have)
- Python skills (nice to have)
- Experience in fintech alternative lending or commercial banking (nice to have)
- Familiarity with credit scoring models or statistical analysis (nice to have)
