About the Role
You will own and execute the go-to-market strategy for Spain and take full responsibility for local growth and performance. You will build and manage partnerships, lead PR and community engagement, and represent the company at industry events. You will work with marketing, product, compliance, and operations to localize the offering, monitor market and regulatory developments, report performance to leadership, and scale local operations, potentially building a Spanish team.
Requirements
- Native-level Spanish and fluent English
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-growing European fintech, crypto, or regulated tech company
- Proven network and ability to build partnerships and brand presence in the Spanish market
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, economics, communication, or a relevant field
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the crypto and financial services industry
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Track record of driving growth and owning market-level performance in a start-up or scale-up environment
- Experience working in regulated industries with strong awareness of compliance and local market requirements
- Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on execution
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Spanish market
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings
- Develop and manage partnerships with affiliates, fintech ecosystems, media, influencers, and strategic players
- Build and maintain PR relationships and secure high-quality media exposure
- Collaborate with marketing, product, compliance, and operations to localize the offering and ensure a best-in-class customer experience
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks
- Drive regional marketing and growth initiatives ensuring campaigns resonate locally
- Provide regular performance updates and strategic insights to senior leadership
- Scale local operations and recruit or lead a dedicated Spanish team over time
