About the Role
You will own CNC programming and operation from CAD files through finished parts. You will produce prototype and small-scale production parts, improve manufacturability with engineering, conduct in-process inspections, and maintain a safe and reliable shop.
Requirements
- Experience programming and operating 5-axis and mill-turn CNC machines
- Proficiency in a professional CAM system
- Knowledge of machining tolerances and in-process inspection techniques
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Hayward
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end CNC programming and operation for prototype and small-scale production parts
- Deliver engineering prototype parts quickly without compromising quality
- Improve design for manufacturability with engineering
- Maintain in-process inspection and quality standards
- Keep the shop safe, clean, and reliable
