About the Role
You will report directly to the CEO and serve as their right-hand advisor, designing and executing growth initiatives, driving critical projects across the organization, and producing rigorous quantitative and qualitative insights to inform executive decisions. You will prepare memos, presentations, and board materials; lead or represent the CEO in key meetings; align internal and external stakeholders; develop and track organizational OKRs; partner with the CFO on planning and budgeting; monitor organizational performance and diagnose areas for improvement; and identify opportunities to elevate team capability, processes, systems, and tools. The role is fast-paced and entrepreneurial; you should be prepared to take end-to-end ownership of high-stakes initiatives and be available outside normal working hours when required.
Requirements
- 5+ years in strategic, analytical, or operational roles (e.g., strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, startup strategy, military officer, legislative aide)
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- Experience with financial modeling
- Strong quantitative aptitude and analytical problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment experience
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-impact initiatives
- High emotional intelligence and professional presence as a CEO representative
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and be available outside normal hours
- Detail-oriented strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
Responsibilities
- Design and execute growth and optimization initiatives
- Build market understanding of energy infrastructure and data center dynamics
- Generate and deliver quantitative and qualitative insights for executive decision-making
- Lead or participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO
- Align and manage stakeholders across cross-functional special projects
- Produce memos, presentations, and Board of Director materials
- Develop and track organizational OKRs and present progress
- Partner with the CFO on organizational planning and budgeting
- Monitor organizational performance and recommend improvements
- Identify training opportunities and improve processes, systems, and tools
- Perform other duties as assigned
