About the Role

Support the Chief Financial Officer by managing enterprise blockchain accounting software, reconciling blockchain transaction records, translating blockchain data to Xero, assisting with financial statements and Singapore tax computations, drafting accounting and tax policies, coordinating external audits, and supporting treasury, payments, and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Preferred CPA with at least 2 years of Big 4 audit experience
• Preferred graduate from a leading university in the home country
• Domain knowledge of blockchain transaction records, enterprise accounting software, centralized platforms, and blockchain explorers
• Knowledge of accounting treatment for swaps, staking, and liquidity pool transactions is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in audit, financial controller, accounting, financial planning, or similar roles
• Proficient with accounting software, particularly Xero, and MS Excel
• Preferably proficient with enterprise digital asset accounting software
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and finance skills
• Strong written communication and ability to draft concise memos and policy documents
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SFRS, US GAAP, and other global accounting standards
• Able to work independently in a remote environment and apply nonstandard analysis in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Manage selection and integration of enterprise blockchain accounting software
• Organize wallet and account mapping and related preparatory tasks
• Perform nonstandard analysis and manual checking of blockchain transaction and accounting data
• Manage workstreams related to external auditors
• Translate blockchain transaction data to fiat accounting software such as Xero
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and Singapore tax computations
• Draft accounting, finance, and tax methodologies and internal policies
• Determine tax treatment of digital asset items and interpret relevant accounting guidance
• Manage accounting processes and recording of fiat and digital asset transactions
• Produce financial reports and track selected financial and operating metrics
• Support financial planning, monthly payments processes, and treasury management
